The educational requirement for the role is a High School diploma, but a bachelor’s degree is desirable. 2-year work experience in Food Production and 3-year work experience in a Management position is mandatory.

The Food Safety and Quality Program Specialist overseeing the Food Safety and Quality Management System’s implementation. He or she ensures compliance with SQF requirements.
The applicant is required to have 2 years of work experience in the field of food production, food safety, food distribution, quality assurance, or related field. Working experience in SQF, GFSI, and USDA audits is an added advantage.
He or she must have an understanding of Quality Management Systems and be efficient in maintaining Food Safety and Quality standards.
